We value the authority of Scripture because God’s Word is the means by which He communicates to the believer and guides our life in Christ. His Word provides us with the knowledge of Him and His attributes and His desire for our lives. He encounters us with the gospel by it and sanctifies us in it. We value the authority of Scripture because God’s Word is the means by which He communicates to the believer and guides our life in Christ. His Word provides us with the knowledge of Him and His attributes and His desire for our lives. He encounters us with the gospel by it and sanctifies us in it. It is the anchor that holds true and steady in a world that is corrupted by sin. It is a firm foundation underneath us, a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We recognize that His Word is sufficient for our lives, but only for the one who hears the Word and does what it says. (Heb. 4:12-13, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, Psalm 119:11, 105, John 17:17)

Our services will display the gospel through our singing and preaching of the Word. Our church community will reflect the glory of Christ as we love, worship, disciple, and focus on the mission of the gospel. We will train our people to be mission minded as they live their everyday life so that Christ is seen through them by the outside world. The gospel is what creates the true church, it sustains the true church, it separates the true from the false churches and it produces eternal change. Therefore, we will defend it, share it, suffer for it, not be ashamed of it, preach it, and guard it until the return of our Lord. Our church was founded by a group of dedicated Christians who wanted to hold fast to a high view of God's Word. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant community that serves our members and our city.
